Engaging All Learners To Achieve Success

Columbus High School is a future-focused school located in Columbus, Nebraska — a vibrant and welcoming community known for its strong work ethic, family values, and commitment to education. Serving approximately 1,300 students from 9th grade through 12th grade, we are dedicated to the district’s mission to “engage all students to achieve success” through innovative programming, strong community partnerships, and a culture that encourages every student to discover something greater than themselves.

At Columbus High School, students are challenged to grow academically, athletically, artistically, and personally. We take pride in offering comprehensive educational opportunities that prepare students for success in college, careers, military service, and life. From strong core academics and career pathways to fine arts, athletics, and leadership development, students are encouraged to explore their passions and build confidence in their abilities.

CHS is deeply rooted in the “Discoverer Way,” a culture built around values such as integrity, responsibility, commitment, honesty, discipline, enthusiasm, and loyalty. These values are woven throughout classrooms, activities, athletics, and community engagement efforts, creating an environment where students feel connected, supported, and inspired.
